ArtUp Career website.

ACCESS presents ArtUpCareer.net  -  an information web page for students and alumni who are active in creative industries in Scandinavia. ArtUpCareer.net is administered by four co-operation partners in Nordic region: Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, Estonian Academy of Arts, Aalto University Small Business Centre in Finland and Royal College of Music in Sweden. On the web page You could find contacts, co-operation offers and life long learning information about music, design, theatre and fine arts in Estonia, Finland and Sweden. Each country has its own page that lead you to links that are important in mentioned fields.

1. Website Terms of Use

1.1 The terms and conditions (the “Terms”) set out below will govern your use of this website which can be found at www.artupcareer.net (the “Site”). The Site is owned and operated by Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, a public University registered in Estonia (reg. number 74000547), with its registered address at Rävala pst.16, Tallinn, Estonia (hereinafter referred to as the Owner). The partners in development and operating of the Site are

The Site and the Information (as described below) are designed to be compliant with applicable EU laws, rules and regulations. Although users outside of the EU may have access to the Site, the information contained herein is intended only for use by residents of the EU.  The Owner specifically reserves all rights to limit provision of our services to select persons, countries or geographic regions.

By continuing to access and use the Site you are deemed to have understood and agreed to them.  By using this website, you agree that the exclusions and limitations of liability set out in this website disclaimer are reasonable. If you do not think they are reasonable, you must not use this website.

2.1 This Site contains information, text, data, graphics, photographs, illustrations, artwork, names, logos, trade marks and information about The Owner and Partners and on the services we provide (hereinafter referred to as the “Information”).

2.2 The Site and Information is provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis only and The owner and the Partners do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, performance or fitness for a particular purpose of the Site or any of the Information.  The owner  and the Partners have tried to ensure that all the Information provided on the Site is correct at the time of publication. However no responsibility is accepted by or on behalf of The Owner and the Partners for any errors, omissions, or inaccurate Information on the Site. Further, The Owner and the Partners do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error free or that any defects will be corrected.

2.3 Although The Owner and The Partners attempt to ensure that the Information contained in this Site is accurate and up-to-date, we accept no liability for the results of any action taken on the basis of the Information it contains and all implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy are excluded from these Terms to the extent that they may be excluded as a matter of law.  We do not attempt to exclude any rights you may otherwise have as a consumer that we cannot exclude as a matter of law.

2.4 Save in respect of death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or fraud, neither The Owner, The Partners  nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for any loss you suffer including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss, or any damages arising from loss of use, data or profits, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the use of this Site.

3. Linking

3.1 Websites or web pages to which this Site is linked are for information purposes and to provide you with opportunities to receive services from third parties and have not been reviewed by The Owner. To the extent that such websites or web pages do not contain information about The Owner or our services we accept no responsibility for the content of such websites or web pages, nor do we accept responsibility for any losses or penalties incurred as a result of your use of any links or reliance on the content of any website to which this Site is linked.

3.2 When you access a website, through a link from the Site, you accept that it is independent from the Site and that The Owner has no control over the content of the linked third party website.  Accordingly a link to a website does not mean that The Owner endorses or accepts any duty or responsibility for the content, accuracy or the use of the contents of such website.  Although The Owner and The Partners  strive to link to third party websites which comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations, the content on these websites may change without notice to The Owner. You should take precautions to ensure protection of your privacy as well as to ensure against Destructive Features (as described below).

4. Computer Viruses, Worms and Trojan Horses

4.1 Whilst we use reasonable endeavours to protect this Site from computer viruses, worms, Trojan Horses and other such destructive features (the “Destructive Features”), we do not warrant that the Site is free from such Destructive Features and accept no liability for any damage that may result from the transmission of any Destructive Features via this Site or via any files which are available for you to download from the Site.  You are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and virus checks (including anti-virus and other security checks) to satisfy your particular requirements for the accuracy of data input and output.

4.2 You are responsible for ensuring that your computer system meets all relevant technical specifications necessary to use the Site or any service made available through it and that it is compatible with the Site.

5. Intellectual Property Rights and Reproduction

5.1 Except as is otherwise indicated on the Site, The Owner and The Partners and/or their licensors own the copyright in all the Information featured on this Site and all related intellectual property rights, including but not limited to all database rights, unregistered and registered trade marks and logos.  You should not infer any affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement from the use of third party marks on the Site, as such marks are used solely to designate certain products or services as belonging to their owners.  Nothing in this Site is intended to grant, by implication or otherwise, any licence or right under any patent, trademark or other intellectual property owned by The Owner  and the Partners  or any licensor or third party.

5.1.1. Any right for the Information indicated or accessible in whatever manner on the Site, including but not limited unregistered and registered trade marks, logos, audiovisual material or any work not listed here input by third party, such as the users of the Site, belongs solely to the party who input the data or to the author in case of mentioned parties unmatch.

5.2 You are permitted to download, print, store temporarily, retrieve and display Information from the Site on a computer screen, print individual pages on paper (but not photocopy them) and store such pages in electronic form on disk (but not on any server or other storage device connected to the network) for your personal use or for internal use within your organisation.

Although we have no obligation to screen, edit or monitor any User Content posted to the Website, we reserve the right and have the absolute discretion to remove, screen or edit without notice any User Content posted or stored on the Website at any time and for any reason.

6. Your Further Use of this Site

11. Severability

If a provision of these terms and conditions is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.

12. Events beyond our control

The Owner will not be responsible for any breach of these Terms caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation acts of god, war, terrorism or technical difficulties.

13. Governing law

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with Estonian Law and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes arisen outside Governing Law area between parties to whom the Governing Law should not extend, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of corresponding national law.

 

Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions arisen outside of the jurisdiction of the Republic of Estonia, between parties not located under the area of same jurisdiction shall be subject to the international law.
